Hi AJSlye,
you're right MG 5600 series and MG 6100 series are supported but not MG 5700 series. Is there still someone working on it?
I downloaded and installed the debian-package of Scangear. But there is no start button in the start menu. I only can start Scangearmp2 from console. It is very, very simple. And it creates files with root as owner and only owner can read and write the file. Is there a way to change this that at least everybody can read and write it and/or the owner will be me? And how can I create a start button in the start menu for it?
Kind regards,
Sigurd
To create a start-button is very simple. And after a restart of the OS Scangear creates files with the owner me. So I can read and write them.
Now at least I can scan again even if it is very simple. But will there be a new version of SANE that will recognize my device Canon Pixma MG 5750?
Regards,
Sigurd
